Fly
Waxed and soldered layers — create a unique project using encaustic and soldering
Taught by Guriana (Dorota Piechowiak) with Jamie & Kasia Avery
Welcome to Guriana's most treasured space
Her workbench. The place where two contrasting ways of creating meet — the subtleness of encaustic combined with the boldness of soldered elements. Two worlds that shouldn't work together, yet create something extraordinary when they do.
In Fly, Guriana (Dorota Piechowiak) invites you into her creative process to build the most interesting book cover using soldering, encaustic medium, and a rich mix of materials. With an introductory section by Jamie & Kasia Avery, even complete beginners can jump in with confidence.
