What Wanderlust is

Why I make Wanderlust.
When I started Wanderlust in 2016, I had one belief: it's variety that helps you find the thing you truly love. One teacher can show you her way - but forty? Somewhere in there is the style that feels like yours. And with a course this big, you can't help but wander out of your comfort zone now and then - which is exactly where the good things happen.
I made it a year long because a weekend can inspire you, but it can't change you. What most of us need isn't just the inspiration - it's company for the long stretch.
And my promise: beginner or fifth-year returner, you are truly welcome here - and you'll never once do this alone. We walk the whole year together. That's the entire point.

Completely. Wanderlust is built for exactly you. Every lesson is guided step by step, there's no right way, and no one is watching or grading. Most of our happiest members started out certain they “weren't artists.”
The course begins the first Friday of January. Lessons arrive weekly within each season, with gentle breaks between the seasons to catch up, experiment, or simply rest. And you won't be waiting empty-handed - the moment you join, your classroom opens with content to enjoy, so there's something beautiful to make right away. You go at your own pace - nothing disappears.
Less than you'd think. As long as you have a few basics - a journal, some paint, glue and paper - start with what you already have.
